Artwork Description:
In the year 2040, technological advancement meets a collective shift towards mindfulness. While innovation continues, people have become increasingly conscious of how they engage with technology. A new cultural movement, rooted in digital minimalism, has emerged. It challenges the over-saturation of devices and reclaims intention, simplicity, and presence.
Technology is no longer seen as an intrusive layer, but a seamless extension of the natural world. Devices dissolve into the environment; embedded in trees, stones, or wind chimes. They redefine interaction beyond screens and gestures.
Music, once a passive background activity, is now a deliberate ritual. Inspired by the slow, considered charm of radio, listening becomes an act of immersion, connection, and reflection. The act of listening to music shifts from control to intentionality. The speculative future imagines a harmonious co-evolution of humans, nature, and tech which is rooted in simplicity, presence, and care.
Here, humans and plants collaborate to make soundtracks shaped by botanical emotion, reshaping what music means.
